We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team in London.  

This is a rare opportunity for a creative, driven and professional individual to develop and grow the strategic services we provide to our clients.  This role will have exposure to some big international brands and this is a high profile role where you can really add value.


You’ll be accountable for:

  • Producing, coordinating and delivering social media strategies on assigned client projects
  • Regularly sharing feedback and insights gained from strategy in relation to client needs with the client, and The Social Element team
  • Effective strategic management of specified areas on client sites and social media accounts where required


You will be responsible for:

  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business environment and strategy
  • Collaborate with our teams to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project approach
  • Conduct research, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions
  • Conduct features and functionality workshops on digital projects
  • Oversee audience research activities (in conjunction with the client or 3rd party agencies) research teams
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace
  • Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials for mid and senior level clients
  • Keep abreast of emerging behaviours, technologies, and companies that are changing our client’s businesses
  • Act as an internal resource, championing  our content / storytelling / digital innovation whenever possible
  • Lead or collaborate client engagements on a day to day basis
  • Be able to lead executive / expert interviews and client presentations
  • Select appropriate frameworks, tools and approaches to use in solving client problems
  • Demonstrate domain knowledge and expertise in a range of skills, such as business model development, financial modelling, product portfolio planning, organisational strategy, channel and go-to-market models, customer / market research etc.
  • Manage consulting engagements
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership activities

  • Good organisational and time management skills and ability to juggle several tasks at once
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, to inform and provide clarity
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A creative eye and ability to create strong and engaging strategic reports
