At The Social Element, we are growing! and as such, we have a new opportunity for a UK based Junior Social Media Producer to join our Social Production team within Services.

In this role, you will be supporting the Social Production Director in ensuring client projects are delivered according to the strategy, required quality, and performance.  You will be required to attend client meetings and liaise directly with external client representatives.

 

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will display:

- Previous social media experience, e.g., moderation, engagement, social monitoring, strategy, insights, content, platforms, and tools

- Familiarity with social media data

- Strong accuracy skills and attention to detail

- Logical thinking with creative troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills, to meet client and agency deadlines

- Level of confidence and gravitas when liaising with and advising clients

- Strong people management skills

- Effective relationship building skills

- Project management skills (desirable)

- Ability to work under pressure to meet key client deliverables and agency projects

- Knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems

- Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive and Basecamp skills

- Strong report writing skills

 

You’ll be accountable for:

- Quality of service delivery on client projects

- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of the service line

- Creation and maintenance of client project documentation

- Understanding the services and business models to manage the team in alignment with overall business goals

- Managing hours sold on a project against hours delivered to avoid over servicing

- Ensure strong performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

- Efficient delivery of any current or experimental services striving to exceed our clients’ expectations

 

You will be responsible for:

- Support with onboarding new client projects

- Quality Assurance (QA) in various forms across all projects - e.g., from checking productivity stats in tools to full QA of service delivery on client projects

- Supporting the Account Manager/Senior Account Manager with input into the Strategic Account Plans

- Effective recruitment and induction of the Flexible Service Team

- Monitoring and managing team member productivity, ensuring adherence to project guidelines

- Producing routine client reports providing information and statistics related to productivity levels

- Reporting on quality assurance on client projects and attendance

- Support with coordinating and drafting Client Incident Reports

- Providing feedback to Resources on all project team selections (research which potential candidates are suitable for each project)

- Ensuring projects are fully resourced, delivered effectively, on time and within budget

- Attending client meetings, and providing clients with confident, service focused recommendations and solutions

- Supporting with holiday cover for other Social Producers (may include some unsociable working hours)

- On-call for crisis and emergency escalation situations

- Concluding end of client project processes

- Research, articulate, and communicate social media insights and trends to clients and staff

 

Skills & Personal Qualities

- Significant experience working in the social media industry, preferably with insights, strategy and analytics

- A strong knowledge of using Social Listening tools such as Brandwatch and Crimson Hexagon is desirable

- Significant previous experience in business analysis

- Experience within the banking/financial industry is a big plus

- Ability to optimise and work with tables, graphs, and resizing or editing of images

- Familiarity with social media metrics and KPIs to help brands make decisions

- Experience creating social media reports and report design

- Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint

- Responsive and positive attitude towards flexible work in order to meet ad-hoc client deliverables, potentially  some out of hours and weekends

- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet client deadlines

- Collaborative and conscientious communicator

- Creatively strong report writing skills, ability to tell a story with social media data

- English language - writing and speaking (native level)

- Consistently delivers business solutions and strategic recommendations

- Support and participate in the implementation of the best practice approach to Services

- Suggest new and alternative ideas by thinking outside the box.
