We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Social Media Insights Analyst to join our dynamic Services team.  You will be primarily based from our London office, with the flexibility to work remotely.

The key requirement of this role is to work with our clients, providing insights to help them make important strategic decisions to boost their brands.   You’ll be analysing and interpreting social media data and you'll use these findings to tell a narrative and provide actionable recommendations for our clients. You'll also help to support the delivery of regular client insight and campaign reports.

This is a great opportunity for the right person who has experience creating actionable measurements of a brand's social media strategic objectives.

About you

  • You are already an experienced Social Media professional with a proven record in insights, analytics and strategy. You will have experience in using and setting up social listening tools (Brandwatch and Crimson Hexagon would be an advantage).
  • You are data-driven. You can analyse and interpret data by using social media analytic tools. You will transform these findings into clear and meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • You have strong communication skills. You are an eloquent speaker and your writing skills are outstanding. You can easily explain just about anything to anyone in a concise and relevant way, translating technical information into simple and comprehensible language.
  • You are patient, calm and cool under pressure. You are confident in your abilities and can quickly step in and establish yourself as an expert with our clients.
  • You are located close to London with the ability to travel into London to meet with key clients to help manage their insights needs and provide delivery of key reports

You’ll be accountable for:

  • Efficient delivery of the Insights service lines
  • Exceed our clients’ expectations – we work with the biggest and most famous brands in the world and they look to us to lead and deliver an efficient and exceptional experience
  • Do all you can to ensure that The Social Element maintains its market leader position in social – providing strategic, actionable insights for our clients

  • Drive customer satisfaction and ensures strong performance on the Customer Survey

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering social media monthly and quarterly insights reports, competitor analysis, social media campaign reports, tone/audience reports, crisis reports, reviews and recommendations
  • Setup of social media tools, optimisation of social media data searches and queries
  • Quick responses to ad-hoc report requests
  • Being an expert in social media insights, with ability to articulate and communicate these with authority to clients and staff
  • Having an in-depth understanding of Social Media brand strategies, and the ability to define measurements and make recommendations based on data to meet the strategic objectives of the brand and deliver social media analytics with recommendations

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Significant experience working in the social media industry, preferably with insights, strategy and analytics
  • A strong knowledge of using Social Listening tools such as Brandwatch and Crimson Hexagon is desirable
  • Significant previous experience in business analysis
  • Experience within the banking/financial industry is a big plus
  • Ability to optimise and work with tables, graphs, and resizing or editing of images
  • Familiarity with social media metrics and KPIs to help brands make decisions
  • Experience creating social media reports and report design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Powerpoint
  • Responsive and positive attitude towards flexible work in order to meet ad-hoc client deliverables, potentially some out of hours and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet client deadlines
  • Collaborative and conscientious communicator
  • Creatively strong report writing skills, ability to tell a story with social media data
  • English language - writing and speaking (native level)
  • Consistently delivers business solutions and strategic recommendations
  • Support and participate in the implementation of the best practice approach to Services
  • Suggest new and alternative ideas by thinking outside the box.
